Our new record is released into the wild today. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped us get this album into the world. It’s always exciting to release new music, but something feels special about this one for us. We hope you enjoy it!
Come hear the new stuff live at our Alberta shows this month:
Jan 19 – Lethbridge – The Owl
Jan 20 – Calgary – The Palomino
Jan 26 – Red Deer – The Krossing
Jan 27 – Edmonton – The Almanac
We are very happy to announce that our new record, “Heavy South,” will be released this January. We’ve been working on this one for quite a while and couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with you. “Heavy South” fixates on circular patterns – work weeks, weather patterns, daily exchanges. The album will be available on vinyl, CD, and the usual digital platforms. You can hear a brand new track called “Horse’s Mouth” and pre-order “Heavy South” via our bandcamp:
More cool stuff soon!
We are genuinely thrilled to share this new track with you. “Born to Work” is a gently psychedelic folk rock song. This is the first taste of a forthcoming full-length that we are very nearly finished. We don’t have any more details for you about the record yet, but we were too excited to not share some of what we have in the works. Download for free from Bandcamp or stream in the usual places:

Check it out, along with a bunch more over on our YouTube page.
We’re playing the wonderful city of Calgary this Friday! April 25th, Broken City at 8:30 with our best pals Hunger Hush.
Today is the day! Our third full-length Sulky Jr. is available to stream and purchase on bandcamp and iTunes!
Of course we will have physical copies available at all of our upcoming shows, as well as tshirts, stickers, and other such swag. Let us know what you think of the album!
With excitement and gratitude,
Yes, we have been pretty absent lately. But that’s ultimately because we’ve been really busy with really cool stuff (aka RECORDING). Our new record is recorded and in the process of mixing. We absolutely can’t wait for it to be in your ears. In the mean time, we have something for you that we think is pretty exciting. Stay tuned, we will announce it before the weekend. We also hope to post a bunch of our photos and videos from the studio here!
Well, we don’t exactly have a full-blown tour booked. But! We do have some sweet sweet gigs coming up in Alberta and British Columbia. Check our dates, catch us for a show. We would love to see you as much or more as you would like to see us.
Archives are important. This is why we have kept records of our setlists from day one. Now, the setlist section of our website (under Live) has all those lists posted in chronological order and will continue to be updated as we play gigs. Even though it’s probably not, we think its cool.
